Recommended Linux Distro?

Of the Linux distributions that OX supports, do you recommend one in particular? I noticed that the OXHE dox from Dec of 2007 refer to Debian. Does that imply that this is the best distro to use? (That's fine, just want to know because I have a new project and can pick anything I like. )

there is no such thing like "the best distro", simply because it depends on what _you_ need and what your knowledge is. Debian is no bad choice for sure because it's pretty mature and has a good support.
