How can a user change the from address in webmail?

Hi

How can the user change the "from" Address in his webmail? There is a dropdown and in the settings the user can also define a standard "from" address. But how is it possible to add new E-Mail Adresses to this dropdown?

Hi,

new addresses can only be added from the Admin.

Then the user can select between the different addresses.

Thanks for the information, how can the admin add the "from" addresses? I use the HE version and configure the users with the comand line. What is the command to add them?

use the "changeuser" commandline tool or an API from OX like RMI or SOAP for adding new aliases to the user. then the user can select these adresses in his/her groupware settings.
