Hi imoran,

what is you use case for this feature? I see some difficulties:

1) The availability dialog is only a graphical representation of a server interface that can be accessed by any client. Masking a dialog would only take away one of many possibilities to access this data.
2) Free/Busy data could also be gained by trying out timeframes with conflicting appointments.

However,

what you can do is to set the permissions for these users to PIM.

This will remove the full groupware functionality and will only provide Private data for this users:

+ private calendar
+ no group appointments
+ no public folders

Maybe, that is what you need?

And with the next release (in march) there will be no access to the availability tab anymore in the webfrontend.
