    Hi !

Is there a possibility/hack/addon/feature to read + write GPG - crypted mails in OX6 ???

Are there any plans in future ?

    Hi Stefan,

surely this is an anticipated feature. The main problem is to store private keys on shared hosting installations...
Have you any suggestion how this feature might look on a technical side?

    Thanks

just an idea - why not store the key on an usb stick?
if you are really into encrypting and decrypting mails with gpg, you could keep the important keys always with you?

Well storing the private key somewhere on the local machine is quite logical. The thing is, that it would require some manual interaction every time a signed/crypted mail is sent. The convenient way would encrypt or sign a mail transparently without user interaction. However, uploading keys to a shared hosting environment (even temporarily) might be a problem for some people.

          FireGPG might be a solution.
But only accurate if you are using Firefox, you can't use another browser.

Yep we already evaluated this and dropped the idea because the feature has to be available with all browsers.
