Hi, i am having the following scenario
i am using OX 5 and i want the clients to use Thunderbird, the problem is the conector available doesnt sync the global address book for version 5, i think i can fix that just by using the option included in thunderbird to do so (you can view an example of the tool here http://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/page.php?id=3462) .
The main idea is to set the thunderbird to use the OpenLDAP as address book, such things is posible, the problem is that when i configure the user to read from that, access is denied, i try with user root for the system and the password, mailadmin and the password, a regsitered user and the password and even the root and default ldap password but nothing work.
I dont know what i am doing wrong, i am using a wrong username? is openldap storing the root and password elsewhere i didnt find?
